Stuart is a graduate of Flinders University in South Australia with a Bachelor of Languages Degree, an Honours Degree Bachelor of Arts, (languages and linguistics) and a Master of Language Studies Degree. (Research Higher Degree)

Stuart is a financial member of the Modern Language Teachers Association of South Australia.

Stuart is a 2026/27 financial member of the Fédération Internationale des Professeurs de Français.  Aimed at French teachers worldwide, whether native, second-language, or foreign-language educators, and all passionate about the French language and Francophone cultures.

Stuart's Indigenous Linguistic Program received a nomination for the 2023 Reconciliation Awards in Educaton!

Accepted Paper at the 2026 Conference on Global Indigenous Studies

I'm excited to present my paper, Language in Action: Embodied, Multimodal Pedagogies for Second-Language Classrooms and Indigenous Language Revitalisation, has been accepted for presentation at the 2026 Conference on Global Indigenous Studies from Multiple Perspectives, hosted by Indiana University Bloomington (USA), 13–15 November 2026.

I look forward to sharing the Language in Action pedagogy with an international community of researchers and educators and to engaging in meaningful discussions on language, culture, and Indigenous language revitalisation.
