Taking language in action to the world!

What a magical experience I had during a language masterclass I delivered to teachers and students aged 10 to 15 in Vietnam and Indonesia. (More than ninety students!)

Through Tintin-inspired sequential art and storytelling, students used their English language skills to bring creativity, imagination, and communication to life!

A fantastic World Language Teacher Summit!

On July 27, I presented the ongoing evolution of my pedagogy for language teachers, Language in Action: Embodied, Creative, and Connected Classrooms, sharing innovative, research-informed strategies that inspire language learning through creativity, movement, storytelling, and authentic communication with educators from around the world, at the World Language Teacher Summit.

Accepted Paper at the 2026 Conference on Global Indigenous Studies

I'm excited to announce that my paper, Language in Action: Embodied, Multimodal Pedagogies for Second-Language Classrooms and Indigenous Language Revitalisation, has been accepted for presentation at the 2026 Conference on Global Indigenous Studies from Multiple Perspectives, hosted by Indiana University Bloomington (USA), 13–15 November 2026.

I look forward to sharing the Language in Action pedagogy with an international community of researchers and educators and to engaging in meaningful discussions on language, culture, and Indigenous language revitalisation.

Presenter at the 25th George Rudé Seminar in French History and Culture
