My book promotion tour continues to inspire!

Thanks to everyone who joined me and Les Aventures de Paris et Freddie Illustrator, Joanna Hassam, at the Hub Library on October 19, for a fun-filled celebration of bilingual education, which included an illustration workshop for audience members!

Sincere thanks to Onkaparinga Libraries Hub Library as official event sponsors.

More wonderful book reviews!

I was deeply touched by a recent review from a reader in Japan, who wrote:

“The sign language at the end of this book is meaningful because it expresses the diversity of language… Language isn’t just for speakers.”

This reflection beautifully captures what Les Aventures de Paris et Freddie is all about; celebrating how we connect through spoken, written, and visual forms of language.

A spectacular book signing event!

Thank you to the teachers who stopped by my signing table at the Adelaide Comic Convention and Toy Fair on October 6 and purchased a copy of Les Aventures de Paris et Freddie, Australia’s first bilingual French–English graphic novel created and set in Adelaide.

This project celebrates the spirit of language, art, and place, bringing together storytelling, cultural identity, and multimodal literacy.

Designed for both classrooms and readers of all ages, Les Aventures de Paris et Freddie invites learners to explore French and English side by side, while also discovering the beauty of Auslan (Australian Sign Language) as part of its visual narrative.

Seen here with my illustrator Jo Hassam, we had a fantastic time engaging with the greater Adelaide community during the book signing!

More fantastic news!

I'm excited to announce a new agreement with Australia's largest French Supermarket, France At Home!
The physical and online store recently purchased stock of my bilingual French-English graphic novel Les Aventures de Paris et Freddie for their shelves!
